RYLA recruits only the highest calibre participants who have already been identified with exceptional leadership potential.
Invitation for RYLA applications are open to youth with leadership aspirations and or/experience between the ages of 19 and 25 with a minimum of 2 years out of school.. Successful participants will demonstrate the following basic criteria:
- Leadership experience or potential, demonstrated through: community, business, social, educational activities/organisations
- Commitment to ongoing learning
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of current events
- Proactive nature
