RYLA recruits only the highest calibre participants who have already been identified with exceptional leadership potential.
Invitation for RYLA applications are open to youth with leadership aspirations and/or experience between the ages of 19 and 25, with a minimum of 2 years out of school. Successful participants will demonstrate the following basic criteria
- Leadership experience or potential, demonstrated through: community, business, social, educational activities / organisations
- Commitment to ongoing learning
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of current events
- Proactive nature
